B.R.O.R.A assists in maintaining ski trails, Yurts and summer trails in several areas. Efforts are coordinated with the U.S. Forest Service, the State of Wyoming, the State of Utah, and the Evanston Parks and Recreation District.

BRORA is a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to assist and cooperate with local, state and federal governments in promoting, developing and maintaining outdoor recreation within the city of Evanston Wyoming, Uinta County, and the north slope of the Wasatch-Cache National Forest.

This includes Nordic skiing, mountain biking, hiking, river use and equestrian use of these areas. At present BRORA is actively helping the U.S. Forest Service in maintaining ski trails and yurts in the Lily Lake Ski Area, in addition to coordinating with the Evanston Parks and Recreation District in their maintenance of cross country ski trails located at the Bear River Parkway, the Bear River State Park, Purple Sage Golf Course, and the Aspen Grove Elementary School.
